This statement is based on the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG). For visitors from the EU, the provisions of the GDPR also apply.

This website does not use any advertising networks, does not embed any third-party fonts and does not sell any data. The only data collected is: the server’s technical logs, whatever you enter yourself into a form, and two cookies in your browser that enable the site to function. In addition, visitor statistics are collected, but only if you consent to this.

When the website is accessed, the server automatically records the following: IP address, time, URL accessed, browser and operating system details, and the previously visited page. This information is technically necessary to deliver the page and to detect malfunctions and attacks. It is not combined with any other data and is not used to identify individual persons.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. The website is delivered via their global network, which means the server may also be located outside Switzerland. The transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses and a data processing agreement. Vercel only retains the logs for a short period.

If you fill in the form on the page Contact When you submit the form, I will send your title, name, email address and your message; your company name and telephone number are optional. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

The message is not stored in a database, but is forwarded to me as an email. The message is sent via Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil, Switzerland; it is therefore stored in a mailbox in Switzerland. I delete enquiries as soon as they have been dealt with and there is no legal obligation to retain them.

To prevent automated submissions, the server checks a hidden field, the time elapsed since the page was loaded, and the number of requests per sender. For this purpose, your IP address is stored only in a truncated form that cannot be traced back to you (as a hash value) and is retained for a maximum of ten minutes.

This website does not set any cookies without your consent. If you agree to the use of statistics, Google Analytics will set its own cookies; this is what the section is about Statistics. Regardless of this, the page stores three entries in your browser’s local storage, which do not leave your computer:

• Language note: remembers that you have clicked away the reference to the English version, so that it does not reappear every time you access the page.
• Information from the price calculator: this transfers your answers to the Contact page when you request an appointment there. The entry is deleted immediately upon submission and disappears at the latest when you close your browser.
• Your cookie preference: this records whether you have consented to the use of statistics, so that the message does not reappear every time you visit the site. This setting remains valid for one year, after which you will be asked again.

You can remove both at any time via your browser’s settings.

This website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data collected includes which pages are visited, how long they are viewed, where the visitor is coming from and which device is being used, as well as a truncated IP address. This allows me to see which content is being read and where the site is encountering issues.

The script will not be loaded until you give your consent. Until then, no requests are sent to Google and no cookies are set. A notice to this effect appears on your first visit. The script is permanently excluded from use for advertising purposes, and it cannot be linked to a Google account.

If your browser automatically sends a request to opt out (Global Privacy Control or ‘Do Not Track’), the statistics will not be loaded and you will not be asked at all.

A transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out; this is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The data will be deleted by Google after a maximum of 14 months.

Your data will not be sold or passed on for advertising purposes. It will only be passed on to the service providers mentioned above insofar as this is necessary for the operation of the website, and where I am legally obliged to do so.

You have the right to access the data processed about you, to have it rectified, to have it erased and to receive it in a commonly used format. You may object to the processing of your data and withdraw any consent you have given at any time.
